Running Update
Once again I've fallen behind.
I'm grinding out 30-minute sessions consistently now. On Wednesday I went along Tilehurst Road, across the park and via Circuit Lane to the railway, whereupon I turned towards Coley and took in the nastly little hill. That went pretty well, I thought.
Today I returned to the Kennet. My thirty minutes took me from Coley Hill to the far gate of Southcote Lock, so not quite as fast as last Monday, but faster than the Monday before. I'm feeling quite puffed on the way. I'm not going fast and I have a feeling I shouldn't really be feeling puffed at all, at this stage. Perhaps somebody could advise.
This evening I shall undo some of the good work by visiting the Reading Beer Festival. This will be the last time, after all, and where I'm going there's a dearth of decent beer. Well, you can't have everything.
